Scholars of Islam

There is no greater love than the love one feels for Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala and whoever has not experienced this love does not know what true love is.

Islam is the best among all religions. It is the reason of love, care, success and prosperity in Islamic society. This religion is transmitted from Scholar to the ones who learn under them and they transmit it to others. Scholars’ obedience is tied to their commitment of defending the truth. The more they move away from speaking the truth, the more animosity is geared towards them. This is the religious true scale that confirmed in writing and by the actions of previous generations because scholars are prone to making mistakes, a religious style was adopted to clarify these mistakes.  Scholars are the scholars of the people of Hadeeth (the Salafees) As they are the ones who follow the knowledge transmitted by the companions of the Prophet (salallahu alaihi wa  sallam) and follow their madhab and methodology. They teach you the correct about Islam.

Nowadays, people have started disrespecting Islamic scholars and used to say bad about them which are not good at all. If in a group anyone started to talk bad about Islamic scholars so gradually the whole group courage him and all used to talk speak bad about them they forget that they are our teacher. Islam gives us the teaching of respecting elders and scholars.

Speaking about your sin, disrespecting anyone and flaunting it openly in front of your friends are haram and is a major sin. It is one of the ways of spreading immorality among the Muslims, encouraging evil and tempting others to do similar things. It also means that one does not take sin seriously and regards it as insignificant, and that the sinner is damaging his own reputation and exposing his honor to the slander of others. Islam seeks to put people off from doing such things in the strongest possible terms, as in the following hadeeth:
“Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: “All of my ummah will be forgiven except those who sin openly. It is a part of sinning openly when a man does something at night, then the following morning when Allah has concealed his sin, he says, ‘O So and so, I did such and such last night,’ when all night his Lord has concealed him and the next morning he uncovers what Allah had concealed.” (Bukhari & Muslim)Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (saws) say: “All of my ummah will be forgiven except those who sin openly. It is a part of sinning openly when a man does something at night, then the following morning when Allaah has concealed his sin, he says, ‘O So and so, I did such and such last night,’ when all night his Lord has concealed him and the next morning he uncovers what Allaah had concealed.” (Bukhari & Muslim)Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (saws) say: “All of my ummah will be forgiven except those who sin openly. It is a part of sinning openly when a man does something at night, then the following morning when Allaah has concealed his sin, he says, ‘O So and so, I did such and such last night,’ when all night his Lord has concealed him and the next morning he uncovers what Allaah had concealed.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

So brothers and sisters in Islam, it has to be clear that our relationship with our leaders and scholars must be based on Islam. We must also be more stem on our scholars and be more careful in accepting anything and everything they tell us. We should get the evidence and question them when needed, until the proof is clear. We must let it be understood that our loyalty is to Allah! Our allegiance is to Allah!! Our purpose for living is to please Allah and Allah only!! Our striving, our living and our dying are only for Allah!
